Summary

Description
English: Built in 1871 and designed by William and George Audsley (who also designed the adjacent synagogue), for wool broker James Lord Bowes and his collection of japanese art. Sometimes named as "Streatham Tower", but not according to Pevsner. Came into the possession of the Duchy of Lancaster and is now student flats. Let's hope they respect its Grade II listed status.
