Three aircraft carriers are underway in formation during the joint exercise Dragon Hammer '92. They include, from foreground: the Italian carrier GIUSEPPE GARIBALDI (C-551), the French carrier FOCH (R-99) and the Spanish carrier PRINCIPE DE ASTURIAS (R-11).
