Background

It was redesignated effective 2007-09-01, for the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team with the description updated.

Notes
↑The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia is worn on all uniforms except the Blue Service Uniform. The Combat Service Identification Badge is a simplified miniature version of the SSI, and is worn on the Blue Service Uniform.
