English: Ling-Temco-Vought A-7D-11-CV Corsair II 71-0354 This was the Wing Commander's plane of the 354th Tactical Fighter Wing, Myrtle Beach AFB, South Carolina.
  • 1972: Delivered to 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ (c/n D-265)
  • Transferred to 354th Tactical Fighter Wing, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC, 1972 as Wing Commander's aircraft
  • Transferred to 152d Tactical Fighter Squadron, AZ Air National Guard, 1977
  • Transferred to 188th Tactical Fighter Squadron, NM Air National Guard, 1979
  • Transferred to AMARC as AE0160 Jun 5, 1992.
  • Disposition:16-APR-98 / To Fritz Enterprises, Taylor, MI. (Actually to HVF West yard, Tucson). Scrapped.
On 15 August 1973, this aircraft, piloted by Col William D. Curry Jr, Commander, 354th TFW (Deployed) took off from Korat RTAFB, Thailand. Col Curry dropped the last bomb by the United States Air Force of the Vietnam War. The bomb was dropped attacking Khmer Rouge forces just to the north of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
