Summary

Description 330-PSA-23-62 (USN 711010): The Injun II satellite, built by the State University of Iowa under the Office of Naval Research sponsorship, will study the relationship between alien-belt radiation and such aurora phenomena as “Northern Lights”. It was one of five-satellites making up the Composite I payload. Photograph released January 24, 1962. (9/29/2015).
