Summary

Description
English: Pi conjugation in the x and y directions (through the 2D planes) and pi conduction in the z direction (through the stacks) both allow for charge transport. The COF shown features metallophthalocyanines and pyrene organic linkers held together by phenazine linkages.

Captions

In a fully conjugated 2D COF material such as those synthesized from metallophthalocyanines and highly conjugated organic linkers, charge transport is increased both in-plane, as well as through the stacks, resulting in increased conductivity.
