Description231017i Govan-Partick Bridge, from Glenlee.jpg
English: The new Govan-Partick Bridge main span aligned with the Govan shore, seen from The Tall Ship Glenlee moored at the Riverside Museum. The swing bridge was built in Belgium and towed to Glasgow by tug Elisa (IMO 9688879), arriving on 14 October 2023 at the Pointhouse Quay site adjacent to the museum car park. Its moving main span was lifted into place on 17 October by floating sheerleg crane Hebo-Lift 10. Work continues on the north pier and northern approach works, in preparation for installation of the connecting fixed span.
