One of many viaducts on the Cornish mainline. This one is located just to the east of Truro. Captured on camera en-route from the station to a bus stop to head towards Newquay. Unfortunately lack of time meant no train captured on the viaduct.
Carvedras Viaduct in its present format was completed in 1902 and stands 90 feet (26 m) high and 969 feet (295 m) long on 15 piers. The original timber built viaduct dates back to 1859 being built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
