Description21-23 High Street, Whitchurch - geograph.org.uk - 1229214.jpg
English: 21-23 High Street, Whitchurch Grade-II*-listed half-timbered building, originally a hall, now used as a shop and café, dating in part from the late 15th century. The frame features close studding with S braces on the first floor and diagonal bracing on the gable. The wooden shop front ('Walker'; centre) dates from the 19th century and is a particularly complete example. The attic contains coops for the rearing of birds for cock fighting. On the left is 25 High Street, a grade-II-listed red-brick building dating from 1753. For more information, see: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1178117
