English: The Rhode Island State House, located at 900 Smith Street in Providence, Rhode Island, was built in 1891-1901 and was designed my McKim, Mead & White in the Classical Revival style. The state House of Representatives is located in the west wing, and the Senate in the east. The dome is the fourth largest structural-stone dome in the world. (Source: Guide to Providence Architecture) The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.
