English: The George Washington Masonic National Memorial, located at 111 Callahan Drive at the top of Shooter's (or Shuter's) Hill in Alexandria, Virginia, is modeled after the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria in Egypt. Designed by Harvey Wiley Corbett of Helmle & Corbett, it was constructed from 1922-1932, with the interior completed in 1970. The memorial was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2015.
