Summary
Description2019--09-14 01 Short-sea shipping EEMS DELFIA - IMO 8411633.jpg |
English: Inland general cargo ship, EEMS DELFIA - IMO 8411633, in the Albert Canal at Eben-Emael, Wallonia, Belgium on September 14, 2019. The EEMS DELPHIA is used for short-sea shipping in both European inland canals and coastal waters. The shape of the bow splits waves in coastal waters. The relatively flat bottom allows shallow canal passage. Masthead pole and other protruding equipment has been lowered for transiting under canal bridges. |

Information about the vessel may be found at IMO 8411633. A ship can change name and flag state through time, but the IMO number remains the same through the hull's entire lifetime. As a result, it can be useful to identify a ship by using the IMO number. |
