Description2018 at Horfield - relaying the main line (02).JPG
English: Horfield station was opened in this cutting in 1927 on the then two-track main line from Bristol to south Wales. Two additional tracks were added to the right in 1933 but the original tracks were removed in 1984. Since then the number of trains on this route has doubled and so the two tracks are being reinstated in 2018.
