Summary

Description
English: Lightly steamed sencha from the first harvest (shincha) of 2018. Grown in Uji, this tea was made using the Yabukita variety of the tea plant. This particular tea was distributed by the Tsuen tea shop in Uji. The first infusion of the tea is shown here in a contemporary white ceramic Arita-yaki cup, made in the wabi-sabi style.
