English: A 20 minute timelapse sequence of 2018 CB taken from Northolt Branch Observatories (London, UK) on February 7, 2018, two days before closest approach. The asteroid can be seen at at apparent magnitude +17 near the center of the image, moving towards the lower left. Brightness is inverted (stars appear dark, the sky background appears light). The field of view has a size of 15 by 11 arcminutes. Images taken with a CCD camera, mounted on a 10-inch Ritchey-Chretien telescope. 2018 CB was about 1.1 million km (0.7 million mi) from Earth at that time.
