English: Relief of 1595 on the north wall of the choir of Kruisherenkerk in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The Gothic church and monastery of the Croziers (or Crutched Friars) dates from the 15th century and was converted into a luxury hotel (Kruisherenhotel) in 2003-05, whereby most of the original architecture and artworks were preserved. The exact meaning of this relief of two praying hands and a pierced heart with the letters IHS (Jesus) and MA (Mary) is not known.
