Known for her 1960s protest songs such as "Now That The Buffalo's Gone", "Custer Died For Your Sins", "The Universal Soldier"-and her Oscar winning song "Up Where We Belong"recorded by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes; also "Until Its Time For You To Go" recorded by Elvis Presley.
