Description20121020 Devil's Hill Falls Trail 2.jpg
English: Devil’s Hill Road, a trail (former road) on Cape Breton Island, in Nova Scotia, Canada. The rad runs from New Boston Road, past Devils Hill, to Terran Nova Road. Much of the road has reverted to a trail, only the last 1 1/2 km is still maintained as a road. Oral tradition suggests Devil's Hill Road was named because a gentleman met the Devil on his way home from Mira Ferry one night after a dance in the late 19th century. There were quite a few farms along the road that went to the Mira, a few of them owned by German families.
