English: Bronze interpretive plaques and oak trees at site of 21-Mile House, a 19th-century inn and stage coach stop, at intersection of Monterey Street and Tennant Avenue in Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, California, U.S.A. California Registered Historic Landmark No. 259. View in southwesterly direction. Until the early 1970s a ramshackle fruit stand, also called the "21 Mile House", existed just to the right of the trees, one of many along U.S. Route 101 in the southern Santa Clara Valley, before West Edmundson Avenue was realigned to its present location to join with Tennant Avenue on the east side of Monterey Street.
