English: A 2000 Audi R8 being demonstrated at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This car, in its unique crocodile livery, was driven by Rinaldo Capello and Allan McNish to victory in the Race of a Thousand Years in Adelaide, Australia, on New Years Eve, 2000. The car had also been driven in practice by Australian-based Audi touring car driver Brad Jones, after doubts had arisen as to whether McNish would be fit enough to drive it in the race. |
