Description1974 AMC Gremlin with Levi’s option at 2015 AMO show 1of5.jpg
English: 1974 AMC Gremlin, a subcompact car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This black car features the optional Levi’s interior trim option. Real denim was not used because it was not tough enough to serve as automobile upholstery. AMC turned to spun nylon that looked like the genuine article, as well as copper Levis rivets, traditional contrasting stitching, and even the Levi’s tab on both the front seat backs. The option also included unique door panels with Levis trim and removable map pockets, as well as Levis decals on the front fenders. This car also has AMC's tachometer. Picture taken at the car show on Saturday, July 25, 2015, during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention that was held near Cleveland, Ohio.
