Description1960 AMC Rambler Ambassador sedan red and white at Rambler Ranch 3of7.jpg
English: 1960 Rambler Ambassador, a compact size (at the time) premium car made by American Motors Corporation (AMC). The 1960 Ambassadors featured smaller tailfins with larger taillights, slimmer A- and C-pillars that both angled rearward. New was a unique and taller windshield with compound curvature. Interior conveniences included a spotlight on the accelerator pedal and a net above the padded sun visors for lightweight items. The "Flash-O-Matic" automatic transmission was controlled by push-button control mounted on the far left side of the dashboard.
Photographed at the Rambler Ranch collection (36370 Forest Trail, Elizabeth, CO 80107) that was part of the 2021 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention held in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
