English: Louis Chiron (left) and Ernesto Maserati (right) at the O.S.C.A. in Bologna. Picture appeared June 1956 in Road & Track (U.S. magazine), saying this is a 750 ccm engine. Chiron had victories with an OSCA in 1953. So this is around that time. The 750 cc 70 hp (52 kW) type S 187 engine was introduced in 1956.[1]
