Description
English: Stirling Moss and Dr. Jenkinson in Maserati 350 at the start of 1956 Mille Miglia on 28–29 April 1956. The flag man is probably Renzo Castagneto, he usually did this kind of work. This was a factory racer ("works") and probably it's first race. The two drivers were English and had a bad accident (did not finish). The car was fixed at the factory and got new engine and became a Maserati 450 S prototipo (perhaps with s/n 4501) [1]
