English: 1949 Bristol 400/406 Zagato Taken at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2018. This car has a Bristol 400 Chassis (No. 400-1-568) built in 1949. The chassis was re-bodied in 1960 by Carozzeria Zagato in Milano, Italy, following an order from Bristol Cars dealer Tony Crook. The design is almost identical to the Bristol 406 Zagato from 1959/60, a small series of which was built on new Bristol 406 Chassis. About two or three other Bristol 400 chassis were treated in the same way. This particular car has been used regularly until 1980 in the UK as well as in Libya. In 2013, it was sold as a restauration project at an auction in the UK for 29.000 Pounds. Since then, it has been completely rebuilt. 2018 it was shown at the NEC Classic Motor Show .
