The file is a vector file of the historic crest of Bosnian football club FK Sarajevo, which was in use from 1 September 1947 until 16 August 1962. The purpose of the file's upload is to showcase all of the club's historic crests on the club's Wikipedia page. The designer of the crest was a one Mirsad Krupljanin who passed away on 15 July 1978. The crest was never copyrighted by him but was granted a Public Domain status in the SFR Yugoslavia, by the 1945 Law on Creative Authorship of the Federal Peoples Republic of Yugoslavia. That being said, the crest has been defunct for 62 years and thus there is nor could there be any legal baring to publishing the vector on Wikipedia.

This image is in the public domain in the United States because it was first published outside the United States (and not published in the U.S. within 30 days) and it was first published before 1978 without complying with U.S. copyright formalities or after 1978 without copyright notice and it was in the public domain in its home country on the URAA date (January 1, 1996 for most countries).
