Description
English: Robert Hall was an African American man beaten to death by Baker County, Georgia sheriff Claude Screws and two deputies in January 1943. Screws was convicted of violating Hall's constitutional rights, but the conviction was overturned in the Supreme Court case Screws v. United States.
