Description1930s model railway layout, Brighton Toy and Model Museum (~177 Megapixel).jpg
English: A large (~177 Megapixel) composited image of the main 1930s model railway layout at Brighton Toy and Model Museum, assembled from over 220 separate images with widely-differing focus settings. The use of deliberate changes in focus between regions results in a more dynamic view that appears to shift focus as the viewer’s eye roves around the image.
The image is based on a computer-generated template created with Autostitch, with most artefacts then removed by hand-editing, and with the use of additional hand-stitched overlays to improve specific areas. Some artefacts have been left in to illustrate the mechanics of the process (e.g. railings, image centre).
