Description
English: 7 Sep 1916 cancel on envelope from the Prisoner of War camp at Wegscheid bei Linz, Austria, sent by an interred Russian soldier, to the Russian POW Committee in Copenhagen, Denmark. Large straightline “Desinfizirt” marking (42 x 7mm) in the same color ink as the departure cancel. Sent via Vienna, with red triangle censor hand-stamp. Probably disinfected against Spanish Influenza,
