English: Breinig and Bachman Fire - Allentown PA
The fire happened on 13 October 1893. It destroyed the five-story building, along with the merchandise of the company. It also destroyed valuable historical materials from a museum collection which had been moved from the old Allentown Academy at the Northeast Corner of South Eighth and Walnut Streets which were kept in the building's top floor for storage. |
