Summary

Description
English: An illustration from the Catalogue for the w:1862 International Exhibition, depicting the "apparatus for supplying water to tenders whilst in motion" that was displayed by the w:London and North Western Railway. The Lady of the Lake class of locomotive and tender had famously carried despatches relating to the w:Trent Affair earlier that year, using this apparatus during the journey.
