Summary

Description
English: Space-fill drawings of the different structures the Ebola virus matrix protein (VP40) adopts in its three different functional roles: virion hexamer, transcription-regulating octamer, and transport dimer. Pale circles represent domains too flexible to be observed in the experimental structure. Drawn by David Goodsell from PDB files 4ldd, 1h2c, and 4ldb.
