Summary

Description 176 (right) and 178 (left) St. John's Place between Sixth and Seventh Avenue in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City were built in 1887-88 as residence for William M. Thallon and Edward Bunker, respectively., who were both physicians; a caduseus can be seen in the ornamentation on the gable of #178. The houses were designed by Rudolphe Daus in the Queen Anne style, and are located within the Park Slope Historic District.
