from Thomas Holme's 1687 map of Pennsylvania, showing
Ridley Creek (left) and Crum Creek (right), flowing into the Delaware River
near Chester, Pennsylvania. Newtown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania (aka New Town Square) is in upper right hand corner. Providence Road (current PA highway 252) is in center of map.
Top of the map is not true north, but NNW.
I cropped the map myself, but don't think that gives me any copyright privileges.
Just in case - I give any of my copyrights to this work to the public domain
