15 Union Square West at East 15th Street off of Union Square, Manhattan, New York City, was originally built for Tiffany & Co in 1870, but the original cast-iron facade was later covered with white bricks. In 2007, when it was converted into 36 condominiums, the bricks were removed, and a steel-and-glass exterior, designed by Eran Chen was constructed over the cast-iron facade, with additional stories added. The new interiors were by Vincente Wolf Associates. {Source: [1])
