Description Orbis terrarum typus de integro multis in locis emendatus; size=405 x 575. One of the oldest world maps in color made by carthographer Petrus Plancius (Dutch name: Pieter plattevoet) with engravings from Jodocus Hondius (Dutch name: Joost de Hondt) of plants, animals and indigineous people printed by Cornelis Claesz, specialized in printing seafaring routes and books in Amsterdam, 1592.
