Description
English: Boeing [NYSE: BA] joined the U.S. Air National Guard at Stewart Air National Guard Base (ANGB) on Aug. 6 to commemorate the base’s transition to the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III airlifter. In this photo, the first C-17 assigned to the 105th Airlift Wing lands at the base on July 18. The 105th Airlift Wing is transitioning from the C-5A Galaxy and will be assigned eight C-17s by May 2012. U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Michael O’Halloran
