English: 081217-N-1082Z-033 INDIAN OCEAN (Dec. 17, 2008) Lt. Scott Miller, from Philadelphia, lands an SH-60B from Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 42, Detachment 1, aboard the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199) during a personnel transfer with the guided-missile cruiser USS Vella Gulf (CG 72). Miller reached his 1,000th logged hour of flight time during the flight. Vella Gulf is deployed as part of the Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group supporting maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
