Summary

Description
English: The original of the facsimile of the International was in the Institute for Marxism-Leninism of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany. Accourding to the title page it is an arrangement for voice and piano, a handwritten copy mad by the composer and signed by him. Further, it is stated that Pierre Degeyter composed the tune to verses by Pottier in 1888 an that the copyright has been applied for in all countries. That the addition of fait à Lilleen 1888 refers to the year of composition an not to the present version is proved by the fact, that Degeyter first began to make applications for the sole legal right of copyright in 1906, the signature however, demonstrates that copyright has already been applied for. It is therefore almost certain that this copy was made sometime after 1906.
