Summary

Description
English: The chimneys of the former Croydon 'B' Power Station now in the car park of IKEA on the Purley Way. Looking rather romantic in early morning mist.

Like millions of other amateur photographers, I left the flash switched on when it was not needed and in this case it has illuminated fog droplets near to the camera.

IKEA stores are standardised world-wide. The Swedish architects must have been very put out when they were told that these chimneys had to stay. But they were allowed to put enormous collars around the tops of the towers in the IKEA (and Swedish) colours of blue and yellow. The collars are illuminated at night.
