English: The Jatmayi Mata temple, also referred to as Jatamai or Jetmai Dai or Jatmai Dham or Durga Mata mandir, is a complex of Hindu temples by the side of a major scenic waterfall in hilly forested section of Gariaband (Gariyaband) town. A trail leads to this remote and historic Hindu pilgrimage site.
The complex consists of over ten temples, with the main temple dedicated to Durga goddess (locally called Jatmayi Mata), others dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, Jagannatha, Rama, Hanuman and other Hindu deities. All temples except two have Nagara architecture, and all have a square plan. One of the exceptions is the Odiya style Jagannatha temple, while the other exception is a Dravidian style Shiva shrine. Newer, elaborately carved marble temples have been added to the site in the modern era.
