Summary

Description

Fifty of the class 417 0-6-0s were built between 1867 to 1869. They were designed by S. W. Johnson and were built concurrently by Neilson & Co. and the Worcester Engine Co. The class was scrapped between 1888 and 1899.

This photo was taken from an old original photo we came across while helping to clear the house of a deceased friend. I have uploaded it to Flickr in the hope that it might be interesting to steam enthusiasts.
