Sidonie Matsner Gruenberg (1881-1974) and Bird Stein Gans (1868-1944). Gruenberg was an educator and writer, author of Your Child Today and Tomorrow, and director of the Child Study Association of America, 1923-1950. Gans was one of the founders of the Society for the Study of Child Nature (see SIA Digital No. 2008-1845).
