Botanical name - Micrococca mercurialis Common name - Mercury Doughwood Wild food plant ; Plant-sap is instilled into the nose, eyes or ears to treat headache, filariasis of the eye or otitis, respectively ; Leaves are 

useful in jaundice.  Ash of the plant mixed with oil used in skin

diseases.
