Построен Ворошиловградским паровозостроительным заводом им. Октябрьской революции в 1953 г. Работал на Московско-Рязанской и Северной железный дорогах до 1982 г. Использовался в качестве котельной предприятия "Комиавтострой". Доставлен в музей из г. Сыктывкара в 1996 г.
