English: Memorial stone for the Ördög-árok stream by the ruin of medieval building in the Tabán Park, located between the tram track and Krisztina körút, Budapest District I., Hungary. Erected in 1970. Magyar: Ördögárok-emlékkő egy középkori épület maradványa mellett a Tabánban, feliratos emlékkő; kb. 200 cm magas mészkőtömb. Felirata: "Hajdan a Nagykovácsiból / jövő Szent Pál patakról a / török kori Kovács Patakról / a későbbi Ördögárokról / 1878-tól Árok utcának / nevezték a mai Krisztina / körútnak az orvos lépcsőtől / a Döbrentei térig terjedő / részét. A Városmajortól a / Dunáig a múlt században / beboltozott patakmedernek / ezen a szakaszán öt híd / vezetett át, amelyek egyikének / középkori támfala és hídfője / máig fennmaradt. / Budapest Főváros Tanácsa / 1970." - Magyarország, Budapest, I. kerület, Tabán, Szarvas tér közelében, Krisztina körút déli oldalánál. |
