Farasfaj (Persian: فرسفج)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Qolqol Rud District of Tuyserkan County, Hamadan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Qolqol Rud Rural District.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,608 in 443 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,721 people in 486 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,526 people in 457 households.[2]
