Work on the article for second submission
[edit]Added additional secondary and tertiary cited references to meet notability criteria and correspondingly expanded the article. Some were from very reliable sources like the UN.
- First Note: This organization is an official organization created by the Thai government and is nominally under the Ministry of Industry (Thailand) as noted in that article in addition to this one. This article now has far more citations than that article for its parent organization, which I have also been improving as part of the work to create the article for this organization and others under that ministry as part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Thailand.
- Second Note: When I jumped back into Wikiproject Thailand this year I did not know where the bar was for government organization article submission. I used articles like the MOI article as a reference point and it had only four citations and two of those were primary sources see here (1). When I submitted this article it was significantly better cited. I hope it can be understood how I could be confused about where the bar currently is set for notability of government organizations (have several other AfS for government organizations that may also not pass the bar). I had just assumed that there was an SNG for officially created government organizations but I did some research and I understand I am wrong about that. Although, if there is any RfC, projects or other efforts to create one kindly point me to where that is at as I would like to get involved (have already joined Wikipedia:WikiProject Organizations. --Ian Korman (talk) 08:04, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
