I think the Find a Grave with the 1886 birth date is the most likely, but the Library of Congress lists her as born in 1893, which may not be correct, either, but it’s the best we have. Many people with that name, so there’s a challenge. I made a few edits, but I didn’t find much new that you hadn’t already located. We will need folks who are good at finding off-google source material to help. She’s definitely notable as an illustrator of a Newbury Honor Book. Montanabw^(talk) 16:27, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
