[edit]Hi--could you point me in the general direction of the formatting rules of which I am running afoul? I've cleaned up some things, but don't want to miss anything.
Thanks so much! Marysdogs (talk) 18:08, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Name of article
[edit]Please note that this article will need to be renamed, as Michael Goldberg already exists as a disambiguation page. Do you have any suggestions? Bradv 20:13, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- I'm open to suggestion here--this is obviously a different Michael Goldberg from the existing ones. I looked at some other pages dealing with this issue (e.g. that of my pal David Gans the musician, who is not the same as David Gans the 17th century rabbi). Since to the best of my knowledge he's never used a middle initial or any variant, I think it would introduce MORE ambiguation to add one at this late date. That's why I more or less followed the Gans example and put the parenthetical stuff in the draft title, but if there's a more graceful way to deal with this I'd be happy to know it. (occupation)
after the name. This article, however, lists him as anovelist, journalist, animal rights activist, and pioneering digital music entrepreneur
and I'm not sure which one should take priority. Which one of those positions is he best known for? Is there a broader term that works better? Bradv 20:50, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

Aha. That makes good sense. Maybe Journalist/author? Marysdogs (talk) 23:03, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
